| Tony Tuckson settled in Australia after the Second World War in which he served as a Spitfire pilot. He exhibited only spasmodically until 1962 and then not at all until his first solo show at Watters Gallery in 1970. He held a second solo show in 1973 - six months before his death in November of that year. Since his death his reputation as one of the greatest artists to work in Australia has grown consistently |
